Started putting the 650 back together last night, hopefully I will be installing the new motor tonight. Only 2 weeks left before the first race of the season.

It is built to Cup Supersport specs, which means no tweaks whatsoever. Hell, everyone should be passing me this year.. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

That's powdercoat, I did that to hide all the nicks, scratches and dings in the frame. Looks good to boot.

Jesus! Hope you were ok! That rear subframe is a pricy bugger. I hope you can find a used one cheap. I bought myself a brand new one after I wrecked mine and then realized the original one is useable (bent after the seat). At least now I have a spare.

Long story, but the short of it was that it happened at the worst possible part of the track, and it happened too quick to pull the clutch or hit the kill switch.

are you fixin that one back up? looks like it may have flipped a time or two?

I rebuilt it and took it to the races last weekend. We got practice in, but the races got rained out.

I only had 3 weeks, so I put the stock subframe and pipes back on it, and glassed the bodywork back together. it was ugle and heavy, but it ran.

Unfortunatly I was scared to death of the damn thing. Riding at sears there is little room for error, and I have pretty low confidence in the thing..

and yea, it flipped, scratched and dragged for quite a ways. Like I said, it was the top of third, and still wide open when I ejected.

This was on the first wheelie bump at buttonwillow, so it was on a straightaway...
