Hi, I have a stock k8 1000 with 2500kms on it, had its first service, Im planning on doing a few mods. A Bike shop near me has offered me a deal on a few things and i would like know if its worth doing these, I was offered a Single Scorpion pipe, DNA filter, PC3, Dyno tune, Throttle body Sync and flowing the 8 injectors for $1800 AUD, my concern here is that the throttle body sync and flowing the injectors is a waste of money on a virtually brand new bike, I was told that from factory the quality of the injectors is poor and the throttle bodies are not always in sync.

My original plan was to go with a Racefit mega a BMC filter and a PC3 with dyno tune. which would cost me roughly $2200 AUD

Just wanting to see what you guys think.

Beware of package deals. You often "settle" for a pipe you wouldn't have bought otherwise, a filter you don't need, a TB synch you don't need, and an injector flow and match you don't need. They're likely keen to get rid of their PC3s if I was a bettin' man.

Of Melbourne? Well your not that far away, I would recommend you go see Dean at Dynoverks, its in the Eastern suburbs near Knox if you know where that is. He does all kinds of performance tuning and is a good guy, he will talk your ear off and set you straight on the best mods to do for your dollar. Even just give him a call and ask him what you asked in your original post here and he'll help you out. PM me if you want the number

I imagine that is near 1K usd.. for that kind of money.
BMC air filter
a slip on, the K7 headers are very good, so you get rid of the cat and a slip on and your ready to roll.
get a AFR or a bazzaz unit.
get some gearing as you like.
