Ok excluding the fact that braced swinging arms look rather knicker twanging http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/lick.gif is there any benefit to fitting on to a modern (well 1993) bike? Also is there any difference between having them Bottom braced, top braced, top and bottom braced, mega top braced or mega top and bottom braced? More strength?
Cheers
Simon.

For the money just throw a 94-95 Braced 750 arm on your 1100. Gives better handling and quicker wheelies due to its shorter length.

i tried fitting a 94 GSXR750 swinging arm on my GSXR1100 M could not get it to fit, spindle was different and location of the rear brake would have need some alloy welding to not a straight forward fit, i even asked a garage to do it for me they said it would be expensive, the braced arms of the later GSXRs look good but do they provide a better fit suspect they are longer as well
