we have been blessed with the new era of moto2, soon we will have new tech unique from moto2 and for 600s and 750s giving us further more perfection as our own class.

but before we get the goods, what you think they are running on those bikes.

they are developing the engine in my city, and i know for fact the moto2 bikes are putting out 125hp, but what exactly do you think they have done?

just conversation purpose as i found out from reliable source the hp, i personally expected 150ish but apparently not.

lets cover the basics before the in depth stuff, but what youre guess they do to these bikes before racing.

it isn't difficult to get 125rwhp out of a 600cc engine if you know what you are doing, just look at what kws is doing with the honda 600cc motors:

They are all spec Honda 600 engines, I don't think they are putting that much effort into drawing power out of them for that reason. The bikes are marking noticeable LESS power then World Supersport bikes (~150hp 600's). And 125 hp is about what 600 Daytona Sportbikes are putting out here in the US with a good engine builder. Not really earth-shattering. I think they are more concerned with engine reliablity and cost savings approach.

Basically everything engine related cannot be modified by the individual race teams. Its up to the spec engine builder to build up the motors

Moto2 bikes advantages are free reign on chassis design for the race teams.

why would the thread kick off? spl and i already explained how to get 125rwhp out of a 600. it isn't difficult, just costly. they are using honda 600cc spec motors, the differences are in the chassis designs.

hell, i could give kws a bone stock cbr600rr, and for $5k, have more hp than the moto2 bikes.
