get a brembo, for street get a 19x20, track get 19x18. If you're undecided get an RCS

What he said.

You can technically use a MC from most any bike that will bolt to the clip on's. I have heard of the 04+ R1 MC being used (it's a cheap Brembo version) but if you want to do it right.........use the Brembo.
DO remember to safety wire the suicide clip that holds the lever on though.....you do not want that guy coming off and they have been known to do so.

i run a PT Tuning (19x19 iirc) billet radial master cylinder on my track bike (02 gixxer 600). freakin amazing stopping power. along with goodridge ss lines and vesrah rjl pads. this set up is almost better than my oem cbr 1000rr brakes w/vesrah rjl pads. my cbr brakes are freakishly amazing.

Master cyl's are universal for the most part so if you just want something to work and be cost effective you can get it off another bike. If you want performance then look into something like the Brembo RCS as it allows you to alter it from 19x18 to 19x20. Probably the best master cyl on the market in the 3xx price range.
