my old 1986 750 is not charging now. any tech types know the specs for this thing?? I need to check the alternator output and the regulator right? any help is apprechiated!

Provided you've already checked the batter, that would be the next option. The battery can maintain a surface charge, but if loaded may drop a cell so it may not be the alternator. Just a thought.
