Last summer I was taking a long sweeping curve at around 100-115mph. I leaned it pretty far but no where near the edge. The thing that concerned me was that when I later got off the bike and looked at my tires they had turned a bluish color in the area I was using going around the curve. Have you guys ever seen this. If so, can someone explain. I was running Dunlop D208ZR's. I contacted Dunlop but they never responded. Thanks.

Yeah that happens all the time. When taking turns fast your tires get real hot and they will turn a blueish color. Not really much to worry about.

Thanks man. However, I've heard that street tires wouldn't get all shredded/balled up like track tires. Instead, they would actually start to get gooey.

yeah that blueish color is just the fact that you heat cycled your tire its caused from the oils in the tire.

full lean,top speed ..best ive hit is 699 knots...ya know not allowed to brake the sound barrier within city limits...its like a $180 ticket...

where exactly is that camera? i usually come up rt. 4 and turn on 301 towards waldorf.
