Anyone going to visit the expo? I have gone for the last 8-9 years and it just keeps getting better. I went to Vegas in 1999 to watch the Mr Olympia and attended the expo and thier is no compairision to the Arnold Expo. I would say 5 or 6 times larger, well from the 99 compairsion. While I was in Vegas I did go to the seminar the morning after the show and Comier, Nasser, Shawn Ray, and Lee Priest where all there. Very interesting. I got a killer photo of me flexing next to Chris Comier (sp). I was 17 inches at the time and he said that he was 23 inches. I'll be there, I go to school about 3 minutes from the expo. Have some buddies coming down so it will be a fun weekend. It will be packed, just hope people remember to wear deodorant this year and don't insist on farting in large crowds.

were you there in '97? if so, you probably saw me compete in the martial arts portion of the competition. i was with team xcel (all black uniforms) at the time, and we took 1st place and won 10g's!

No, last year was my first year there. Hell, '97 was my first year of middle school (7th grade), wasn't much into bodybuilding/fitness stuff that early. Wish I was though.

Amen on the deodorant thing.

I competed in the martial arts portion last year and that was one of the most poorly organized tournaments I have ever been to. Granted they had 50 rings set up and it was ginormous and what not but those people wouldnt know how to run a good tournament if their life depended on it. Tore a hamstring muscle in december and still hasnt healed all the way so no competing there this year. $150 was steep but im still going to do it again next year.

So what did everyone think? I should have checked here before I went to try and hook up with you guys. My buddy and I had a blast. Talked to Bill Kazmaier for a while- really cool guy. High point of the day was meeting Jamie Eason- OMFG she is so hot! Really cool too.

Gotta say the high point of the trip was going to a private party with the folks from Optimum Nutrition Friday night. They were on our hotel shuttle bus going downtown and invited us. They were really down-to-earth. Not to mention Mercedes Perez (fitness/bikini model) and Michelle Lamb (IFBB Bikini Pro) are absolutely gorgeous!! :drool Had a great time with them and their friends at the bar. Pics to come...
