I need help with a routine. New to the whole weight-training. I am trying to lose some weight and define what muscle I have.

Dude all I can say is that I have been Sparing for 6weeks now.. ITS FUN AND IT BURNS 500 to 700 calories an hour.. Im seeing CRAZY Results not to mention I can run a mile now!

weight 225
diet? ( EVERYTHING you eat on an avarage day)
I have been trying to stick to a 1500 calorie diet until I drop some weight. I would like to get down to 200
Breakfast I usually eat half of a granola bar (2 pcs in pack) I eat the other about mid-morning
Lunch I usually eat a lean cuisine (SP?) of some sort
yogurt mid-afternoon
Dinner ? depends on what i can grab before I go to the gym. I like to eat before working out at night.
Lots of water through out the day.

current training?
I have been doing atleast 30 mins of cardio a day
weight training is at a min, as I really don't have a set routine. I fugured for the first week I could try and build a little endurance for the following weeks.

Need anymore info just let me know.

You need a totally different nutrition program,and being as I usually jump in to the diet post's first I figure I'll give someone else a chance to post something for you.

basic bare bones cutting diet..

breakfast.. 1 cup oatmeal 4-6 egg whites..

protein shake, OG recos Myoplex with skim milk. i personally use Iso pure Zero carb.

lunch ... 6-8 oz chicken breast, 1 cup brocolli, 1 cup brown rice or sweet potato/baked potato

protein shake as above

dinner. another chicken breast and 1 cup brown rice, or 1 cup broccoli, or sweet potato/baked potato (??)

spaced at 3 hr intervals.. only thing is youll be a bit short on protein for your current body weight, not sure if its how its going to affect you. drink at least 1 gallon of water a day. no excess salt in the above foods,, watch the fruit intake, 1 pc a day at most, yogurts shit,, you can try cottage cheese with some fresh fruit instead of eggs in the morning i believe.. no fast food NONE,, no burgers burritos,, 0!! nothing fried. No sodas unless its diet. did i forget anything.??
