Anybody know if there's any undertails available for the new Gixxers???

the bike isn't out yet, so I doubt anyone has had the chance to fab one up yet, but whatever works for the 03 gixxer 1k should work for the new gixxers too... Don't they have stock undertails now anyways?

uh....correction...the bike it out...we have two on our showroom floor

I dont think they need any... all I would do is cut off that shovel and get some aftermarket led signals for the front and rear. guess time will tell.

I like the stock undertail, its looks neat and finished, but if extreme graphics comes out with an undertail like the one they made for the '03 1k, I'm getting it. Here's a pic of it. http://www.extremegraphicfsmd.com/photos/GSXR1000/gix1k3.jpg

It looks to me like the taillight design is shaped different and the undertails for the 03 1k aren't gonna work for the 04's. I'm just not feelin the bulky stocker and wanna have something nice to slap on my bike when it comes in.

the 600/750 come with a similar design as the 1K but yes the tail lights are different. Hotbodies build undertails for the new 600/750 and were available in feb. the stock fender unit uses 3 bolts and is removable. the undertail is smooth and actually quite appealing. a fabricated aluminum license bracket with turnsignal mounts would be excellent. i think i shall build one for mine..........when it finally arrives!!

make your own. a whole lot of money saved for a lil bit of time and thinking! easy to do

Is there any way to incorporate the stock brake light into an undertail? I have the new 600, and want to get rid of the ugly license bracket, but keep the stock brake light. THanks for the tips, I'm new to the game.

the brake light and fender are 2 separate pieces. unbolt the fender and the tail light stays where it is. build a nice plate holder and turn signal bracket and viola!!
