It seems we smoked a clutch in our modlite. it doesn't disengage when pulling clutch lever and kills motor when shifting into gear from nuetral. Probably ready to be changed since it has about 30 races on it. What is the clutch mod that is posted on the site for? Any advice is appreciated. I've been told to stick with an oem clutch kit too. Thanks for any help.

Many K5/K6 owner's experienced clutch chattering on engagement (I didn't). Suzuki redesigned the wave washer for K7 and I believe that this solved the problem. It appears that changing the washer is sufficient for K5/K6. If your's is apart it's probably prudent to install the new part. OEM parts are generally advisable unless you have something extreme like a turbo. Don't have any experience with it but I'd consider Vesrah, if any, for aftermarket discs, primarilly because their brake pads work so well.
