Quick question. I've been hitting the gym every day at lunch for my cardio workout. Once my life slows down a bit (parents are on Vacation with relatives, and i'm responsible for everyone's animals/houses) i'll be able to hit it 2x a day. Here's my Q... today I feel like shit. I'm dead tired, I have a horrible hacking cough and i'm really warm. I have a feeling i'm getting sick. I wanted to go to the gym for my cardio at lunch, but i'm afraid if I push myself i'll get sicker-er?? But I also won't be able to make it to the gym again until Friday, and I don't want to miss 2 days on my cardio.

Listen to your body, we work out to get healthy, So when you think you need it, then take a rest day. You won't be feeling that great if you go in anyways, and won't be able to push it the way you would like to, so I say just relax and have a day off.

Yeah, maybe that's a good idea. I know that i'll be discouraged not going though. But 1 reason I also think I know i'm getting sick... I have no appetite. I'm still trying to eat every 2-3 hours, but it's like force feeding myself. I'm also not in the mood for my salad and cottage cheese for lunch... I might walk to the local deli and get a grilled chicken sandwich or something, and eat it dry without the bread. Sounds better than my salad. Yuck, this sucks. I really hope i'm not getting sick.

Yeah... take it easy. 2 days off ain't gunna hurt...
Drink LOTS of water and keep up with eating heathy and you might just kick that cold before getting really sick.. One really neat thing about being heathy is that you become much more "in tune" with your body.... listen to what it tells you and you'll be back in action in no time. my advice is to not hit the gym 2 times a day...rest and sleep is just as important as nutrition and exercise...they allhave to be equal to get good results...hope you feel better

Unless I'm in the Hospital,or near-death I will not miss a workout.
I'd have to be pretty fuckin' ill not to go,or the wife forbids me from going.Those are the only 2 things holding me back.

im with oldgix on this one. workin out sick isnt too bad for me, i can tell that im sick but i can still get it done, so i do, give it a shot and see how it goes cuz you never know if you can workout sick till you try
