That game looks excellent. Funny, I'm right in the middle (umm, 17 hours in actually) of Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, which they mentioned. I know which game I'll be adding to the collection. Now playing it, it'll probably wait for awhile, since I had the Dark Alliance sitting around for a couple years... Too much bike riding, too many other hobbies, so little time. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
As to your question, it should be a single player game with multi-player and online capabilities. Here's a quote from the second page of the 'review': "Aside from the single-player game, Champions also features a co-op mode that can be played either on- or offline with up to four players. The offline game works pretty much how you would expect, and the online ..."

Yep, that game looks like it supports offline 2 player modes just fine... Must be nice to have somebody ta watch yer back in those dungeons. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Just finished Dark Alliance? I've got a question for ya. Last night, I defeated the dragon from the Dwarves area (ice cavern) and had the teleporter ready to go. But I couldn't return to the mining camp (this is the end of level II) to sell off my loot, nor get anything for my troubles, like at the end of level I... the entrance/exit from the dragon room was sealed off 'by magical means' and I couldn't 'recall' my way out either. Did I miss out on anything by not being able to return (to finish that 'quest' so to speak)? I'm kinda trying to get everything I can, kill everything possible, etc... rather than race through it for any speed records. That should be obvious since I took 17 hours to finish level II... http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
Couldn't find the medallion from whats'his'name's dead brother in the first level either, although I'd killed the boss before realizing I'd missed a whole wing of exploring... Where the heck was that? http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
