yup it's gone....I guess there was low interest in it...I'd love one in black




(for those of you that don't know I'm talking about the SV1000 - ...the standard - they still make the SV1000S)

It is shame. I always preferred the look of the naked SV to the faired S. Unfortunately the S got all the press ink.
Sometimes less is more. There was a local guy selling what he called a Bandito. It was a Bandit 1200 with the fairing removed and an SV headlight installed. This was prior to the naked bandit coming stateside.
He wanted more than the going rate due to the lack of a fairing. The next year the naked Bandit could be had new. Hopefully he sold it before then.

i've heard otherwise. but hell who knows. is there an official word from suzuki?

I read it in the new Cycle World...or Motorcyclist....not sure. April 2004 though...right near the pic of the 2004 SV with lower seat height

we probably won't know for sure until late in the year, you know last year the N came out way later than the S.
