Just bought a used bike a few weeks ago. I took the fairing off and noticed there is not coolant in the reserve. Can I put normal car coolant in, or does it have to be a particular kind?

There are bike specific coolants. If you live in a place that gets below freezing over winter, make sure you get one that is also an antifreeze. I use Engine Ice. Bout 20 per half gallon, and takes about 3/4 gallon to fill the radiator and reservoir to the cool line

I live in an area where the temp verys from 55-115. With that said, i porbably cant go find the right coolant at a Napa or other parts place huh?
