I'm curious to this too, I just took some out tonight to thaw for dinner. They're boneless, and really thin cuts, so I thought they'd be better.

While we're on the subject of white meats how does turkey stack up against chicken for protien intake?

There is nothing wrong with pork, as long as it's a lean cut. For pork chops if they are lean cuts the nutritional break down is: 55 grams (about 2 oz) has 16 g of protein, 0 carb, 0 fiber, and about 5 g of fat (1.9 sat, 2.3 mono, 1 poly). The sodium is minimual at 34 mg if your watching that. I think pork is a great way to keep variety in your diet, just make sure they are a fresh, lean cut.http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

As far as turkey vs chicken.............vitruallly the same although turkey is slightly higher in protein ounch for ounce

turkey has slightly more protein than chicken and slightly less fat.

lean pork has slightly less protein than chicken and about the same fat (obviously something like a pork chop will have loads of fat)

This is a good comparison of meat nutrition and where I got that info from :

Actually a lean cut pork chop has about the same amount of fat as a skinless chicken breast or turkey breast

Even though Pork may not be that bad for you,I still avoid it.Just stuck in my mind to stay away.

I'll much rather have a nice Flank Steak or Fillet Mignon instead, beside my normal staple of chicken and fish.
