Due to an unexpected job change at the beginning of the year, getting to the track has been in slow motion this year. Hope to go on the 22nd of May if things work out.
Installed the programmable fan control that allows me to set where the fan turns on & off. Trying to keep the temp in better control.
Got the 47 rear sprocket installed. Gearing last year was 15/45 (-1/+2) and will now be (-1/+4).
Need to purchase the quickshifter and install that before the 22nd of May.
Picked up a ATD blower fan for cooling in the pits between rounds. A buddy is giving me a small generator that runs but doesn't charge. Hopefully I can get it fixed.
Got my weight down to 170 from 179. Goal is 165. Hope the heat will help me get the rest of the way in a few more weeks.
Best ET last year was 11.05@125 with a 1.904 60'. Went yesterday to Altanta Dragway as a spectator to watch the AMA Dragbike qualifying/races and watch how the swb bikes were being launched. Just a small improvement on my part should put me in the 10's.
