I just got an 04' as my first bike, although I have some experience with dirt bikes. Well have any of you taken off the rear mudguard? I am a fresh newbie and I have absolutely no idea how to go about doing this because I havent really taken a look. People say I have to cut the mudguard with a dremel and a cutting disc but I see 4 hex screws holding it together. I would much rather unscrew it than cut it off.

Take the 4 screws out and see what happens. I didn't try it on my bike yet but I will this weekend. You will have to remount your signals and plate somehow...
