Any 04 owners use the new headlight at night yet? The design looks awesome but what about the functionality?
Any opinions?

works great for me at night... good visibility but I haven't been on the older gixxers so I can't really compare

I have riden it at night and the lighting is great. The projector beam is on at the same time as the lamp on low beam. Since its a projector it has a sharp cut-off point and produces that fine line when you point it against a wall. The high beam is great too.

the new headlight is amazing...i just put in HIDs in the projector and it is even better ( 75k eagle vision, imported from japan and nice and illgal for street use in the usa ). I think that they are much better than the 03 stlye headlights

Anyone hear that on tight turns you lose visibilty with this light (like on-ramps). I'm picking mine up next week and I can't wait
