I keep getting these popups that tell me to go to windows-patch.info and stuff. also, I am getting e-mail on one account from a completely different account (both mine). No address book on either. I DID NOT SEND THE E MAIL. Do I have a virus or something? which virus protection do you reccomend?

I can't really say I've had any problems with Trend Micro, McAfee, or Norton. You can do a free online scan at http://housecall.antivirus.com (it's trend micro's website). http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

no you are probably running windows xp or windows 2000, the message is actually a kind of spam message you are getting, if you right click on my computer, go down to manage, once you get there, go to "Services and Applications" then go to "Services" then scroll down till you find "messanger"
set that to either manual start, or disabled, and kill the service, you will never get that crap again

you can also search for this exact file on google.... popupstopper.exe it's a awesome pop up stopper but i forget the exact site I just google'd it and found it...give it a try.
