I am not willing to ship it so prospective out of state buyers will have to make a trip to Southern California to pick it up. Feel free to ask if you have any questions.

I've never shipped a vehicle before but if you brief me on how it works I'm sure we can work something out.

haha i havent either, but from what ive seen so far is that you and i need to set up some kind of secure transaction first and then im gonna need an exact address as to wear the bike is so the carrier can come pick it up. it looks like its gonna cost around $600 to $700 to get it transported but im gonna do a little more research before i decide to do anything.

Yea, that's why I didn't want to do the whole shipping thing. It's going to be scary for both of us. Plus I really want the prospective buyer to look at the bike in person, perhaps even take it for a spin before he hands over the money. But do a little bit more research and a bit more thinking and let me know what you want to do.

In regards to payment the only form I would accept is a wire transfer. I sold a car to an out of state buyer before and that was what we did. Except he actually flew down from Utah to drive the car back. As far as the shipping company coming to pick up the bike... once I verified the money is in the bank they can go ahead and pick up the bike.

im sure u have the title in hand, but i was wondering if you could send me some detailed photos of the bike, like 20 or 30 at the least. i read on the wera forum that there was a scratch on the frame, a picture of that would be nice as well. i was quoted $647 and some change to get it transported so i have that covered, and the process for paying for the bike seems pretty clean cut according to the dude on the thread i started.

im in the process of selling my car and as soon as its sold i will be in the market for another bike. im very interested in this one and will have the means to purchase it as soon as my car sells. thanks for your time

No problem I'll get some detailed pictures of the bike with the fairings on and off so you can see everything. The only thing is though if you're looking to ride this on the street, you should call up your local dmv to ask them what you need to register a salvage title bike.

This bike is registered to be ridden on the street in California, I went through the whole registering process which involved getting the bike inspected by a AAA certified shop and the local CHP and dmv offices. Not sure how they go about doing that in NC.

The one important thing to note is that even though I have a rear brake light mounted, the rear turn signals are "fake" (not actually wired up) and I have no front turn signals. So if you use this for the street you need to fabricate a headlight, front turn signals, and wire up the rear turn signals.

This is primarily a bike that I used for weekend canyon rides and trackdays back when I still rode a lot. That's why it doesn't have all the lights/signals. I was assuming you already had a street bike and you wanted to purchase this for track use. As I said, call your local DMV first thing Monday and tell them your situation, that you are purchasing a salvage titled bike from California and how you can go about registering it in NC. Let me know what happens and I'll get the pictures for you if you're still interested.

The wire transfer is quite simple, you go to your bank, and request for a wire transfer. I give you my account number and the bank literally transfers money straight from your account into mine. I believe there's a small fee ($20) for this but it's by far the safest.

Sweet, this bike will be perfect for you then. It's sprinkling outside right now and the garage is too dark, I will try to get some pictures for you tomorrow morning if it doesn't rain.

Ok so here are the upclose pics of all the imperfections.... I figured I would post it here so in case the deal falls through with you other prospective buyers can see the pictures too.

First is the scratched part of the frame, the scratch is very shallow. It was a bit of an eyesore for me so I painted over it and unless you look up close you can't even tell anymore.

Hey Brandon, I don't have time to put the race fairings back on today. I'll do it tomorrow morning and take some detailed pics of the bike with everything on. Expect pictures tomorrow sometime afternoon.

What's up Mikey-POO! How've you been? I'm not sure if you've noticed but I haven't exactly been riding. In these past two years I can count how many canyons rides I've done with all my fingers, and I can count how many trackdays I've done with the fingers on one hand.

I figured somebody else could put this bike to better use. I've been going back and forth about selling it and never really committed to it until now. Sometimes you just have to let things go you know. But don't worry though once I get a new job I'll probably be back with a 1000rr with all the fixens and do trackdays regularly.

Do you still ride canyons or are you trackdays only now?

Sounds good... that gives me some time to put the fairings back on. In all honesty I'm lagging because I'm being lazy :p I'll have the pics up before the weekend though. But in the mean time I realized I have a full pic of the bike without the fairings.

I'll get the multi-angle full fairing versions up soon.

Carbon fiber front and side fairings?

where did you get sides, I'm wanting to pickup a set of CF sides but cant seem to find any, PM me if you could!

are they single piece? I assume so since you say race fairings. Or are they 2 piece like OEM?

do you have pics of just the CF side fairings by chance? :D
