SO I go to the store to put my 5 dollar deposit down on Halo 2, and the person at the counter told me that now its not going to be availible til Sept. WTF!!!!!! Ive been waiting for over a year for this game and now we have to wait 6 more months!!!! Anyone heard any rumors about this?

Bungie, the developers of the game, did not state a release date until just a few weeks ago. All the software companies kept stating estimated release dates so they could get pre-sales, and basically have your money for months earning interest for them instead of you. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Bungie has now officially said that the game will be out this fall. They did not say September 1st. that is just EB guessing at a date again, so they can make more pre-sales. This is the first time Bungie has officially commented on the release date since Halo2 went into production.

Another 6 months of agony. I saw the game pack at best buy, with a never before seen clips of Halo 2, with a control that has Turbo and some other features on it, i guess i'll have to get that for now
