thinking of buying one. what would be considered high miles for one? i found one with 73000 miles on it and in good condition for $15900. i know i could probably talk them down to $14000.

so here are my questions:

what miles are considered high for a car like this?
what is the most i should pay?
what should i look for when if i get it?

thanks in advance

here is the one i was looking at:

I am not an expert by any means on evos but from what I've heard they are good cars, and 73,000 miles isn't too high. If properly taken care of they can last just as long as any car, probably up to the 200k mile mark. There are many young guys who get these cars to mod them, and make them blow up at 30,000 miles though so it really depends on how it has been taken care of.

Most EVO's are ran hard and put away wet. Try to find one from an old man. 14k is way too high IMO for a 73k Mitsu

They're not in that car more than 11-12k TOPS and that's AFTER reconditioning. Offer 12k + taxes, licensing.
