So I picked this thing up from this guy that just wanted to get rid of it. He said it hadn't ran in 6 years and was just sitting in his garage, throttle was jammed and won't start, but turns over. I bought it for $250, took apart the carbs and let them sit in cleaner for 2 days, put everything back together and it fired up after about 2 minutes of kicking. It starts now everytime so I'm going to keep this antique and restore it. It has everything original on it, but it's sun faded and the forks and shocks suck dick to say the very least. I'd like to keep it all original except the suspension. Anyone know where I might find some aftermarket forks and shock to support 240 pounds? I'd really like to go with the inverted deal like on the modern bikes of today, but this thing has drum brakes and all. Is that possible or should I just send the forks off for re-springing ... or whatever this old beast takes. Other than that I'm gonna ride the hell out of this thing in the sand dunes here in eastern WA with a paddle tire. I need a new seat too, it's all dryed and torn, but man this thing still pulls like a beast and wheelies up to 4th gear with ease!!!!!!
