Ok... I know this is not Gixxer related... Don't Hit me!... As Streetfighter section active member I think I deserve a little bit of mercy!...
Ok, here's the deal...
I used to ride a cute 750 turbo, until I crashed it... right?...
Because of the accident, the front end and the frame of the Turbo are very damaged to restore them...
A long time ago I bought a Z750 frame very cheap, keeping in mind I will restore or build a Streetfighter with the rest of the 750 turbo that survived.
Fitting the 750 turbo engine into Z750 frame should not be very difficult.
Now, I'm about to buy a wrecked ZX11, It will donate engine parts for my current ride.
But I think to fit the ZX11 front and rear end into the Z750 frame.
As fitting the engine, I think I won't have too much troubles in fitting the front end into the Z750 frame.
My main worry is about the rear end.
The ZX11 swingarm is wider than Z750 swingarm.
What would you recommend me?...
I think it would be easier to machine the swingarm extremes in order to fit into the new frame.
What about swingarm shaft?...
It's obvious I have to drill a bigger hole to plug the shaft... But how?...
Well... Any tips will be welcomed... So I could evaluate the investment, I mean, the purchase of the wrecked bike.
