got a C42 code which comes and goes from time to time, preventing me from starting the bike.

It usually goes away after I wiggle the switches, turn key on and off and such.

According to the manual I should check all handlebar switches..
Anyone had this error code and could tell me whats the most common cause for this error so I know where to start looking?

First easy thought would be next time it does it play with one switch at a time until it changes. Hopefuly then you should know what to look at.

If it is the switches, take them off and inspect for any loose connections.
