Got bored at work and decided to look up local track schools. This one is 195 bucks, but sounds like it'd be worth every penny. I think i'm gonna try and get in on this during the first or second session. Probably be a hell of a good way to find someone to ride with too. Anybody here ever taken classes there?

I had a buddy take lt last year, and he had a blast with it. Me an some buddies rodw down to the track when they were building it, just to check it out. It was pretty cool, cause one of the owners let us go out and dick around for a few minutes. I am going to do it this year, proviving I can find myself a leather suit.

I took the school the first year the track was open and it was fun. that year i went to the track 4 times. this last year i went to the track every wednesday throughout the summer. i had so much fun this summer even though my street riding buddies never came out to the track. you need to get your priorities straight. for me the track was my priority. my goal for the year was a 1:50 at the track and i beat that on my 4th track day this last year. my best was a 1:46 with front end chatter. i have since fixed the chatter but the last trackday i did was cold out so i could not push it to much since it was slick out there. you guys should go you will have fun. i quit street riding becuase of the track.

Hey cmb, gonna do any races this year? Heartland park in topeka is having the first ccs races on the 28th with a trackday/licensing school the 27th. I am just hoping for nicer weather than that last MAM day http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

i would like to try some racing this year but i am not sure if i can afford it since i broke my hip this winter playing ice hockey. my doctor bills are so nice. if i do race it will be the cra race at mam. i think i will do the trophy dash race since it is the most track time for the money. i think this year will be the year of the dirtbike for me. i want to get back into motocross. i have a few friends that ride on the dirt and i want to get back to being good at it.
