okay, i just bought a game, installed it and everything seemed fine. now i put in the first disk and the autorun window pops up. unfortunatly when i click 'play' nothing happens, the screen closes and then nothing. i know i have all of the minimum requirements so i don't think it is that. any help would be appreciated.

Hmm try updating windows drivers along with your video card drivers. Thats the first thing i always do whenever any program doesn't work as its intended.

I used to run into so many damn troubles playing games on my old computer, the problem was that there were so many things that weren't up to date with the latest games, even though i upgraded the motherboard, sound car, video card, etc, there are just misc. files that need to be had in order to run things properly.

did you try to go to the program icon in the start menu, try that there might be a linking error in the autorun program
