Hi guys, I just recently bought a replacement clutch cable for my 1998 GSX-R 750 because I noticed that the cable was fraying near the lever....and I finally got it in the mail yesterday and I was wondering how I remove the old cable? I took off the left side fairing and loosened up the push rod adjustment and the cable tension adjustment at the handlebar and unscrewed the hollow screw holding the old cable in the engine but the old cable is still running inside of the case and i was wondering if I should take off the case plate that the cable is going into? I don't want to start ruining things so any help would be appreciated...I would take the bike to a shop but i'm a very broke college student, and i've got some motorcycle work experience but I've never done a clutch cable before...
