I just moved up here from Oklahoma. big difference. But i was wondering where a good Bike dealer is.. maybe around Dayton or Toledo.. those are my closest "big" cities.. Or maybe you all know of a website of a dealer. ? i dont trust ebay.

And is insurance pretty bad for bikes up here? I know my car insurance went down, quite a bit..

not sure about dealers around there but my dealer is really good to me all seasons in wooster (ask for shawn) its alittle bit of a drive (but worth it if your buying a bike) and welcum to the heart of it all it sucks around here thats why im movin to phoenix

Wooster..? ive only been up here for a couple of weeks. so im not too good with the towns or cities yet. would you happen to have a # for them?

you could try Honda East in Toledo...(Northwest corner of the state) That is the onnly one I can think of right now. I will post back later if I think of any more.

Heh, small world. I'm in Ottawa about 10 miles away or less. If ya want Suzuki then Cridersville is closest to me. I have State Farm insurance as do many of the others on this message board. It's by far the cheapest insurance I could find. Welcome to the board!

I also have State Farm, i had state farm in oklahoma when i had my pickup and gixxer, it wasnt too bad, but since my car i got now dropped in rates, i was just wondering if all insurance was cheaper up here.

Cridersville is just south of Lima. If you get on I-75 south, you will pass all of the lima exits, then an exit for fort Shawnee, and then shortly after that the exit for Cridersville. If you happen to go there ask for Todd. He has a TLR1000 and a Ducati 916. He's a good guy but definitely a salesman through and through.

Competition Accessories is a great place to look but be careful if you buy one there. If you are not careful the will slip extra charges in on you after you have negotiated a deal with them. Very dishonest people in my opinion. Once they get you're money you're not shit to them. Shady outfit, I will never buy another bike there. I guess there are probably a lot of dealers like this. The parts counter at Competition Accessories is not a good thing either. They act like they are doing you a favor by just talking to you. Allways pissy and sour and not willing to help with any problems.

I guess it depends on who you talk to. I haven't made it in there in a year. I try not to even bother going down there unless I have at least $1k to just blow. Several of my friends go down there, pick out the bike they want, then go to a different dealer to negotiate, so there must be something going on down there since nobody wants to deal with them.

I am glad that most people won't buy from them. They are S*&^ in my book too. MY 98 CBR 900 had a bad incident with them on buying and then again buying a jacket from them.

There deal on accessories now is you buy the product, they charger your card, put the money in the bank, then when they get enough orders they place the order so 2 months to weight for a product is common.

They SUCK

I deal primarily with F&S out of Dayton. Great Deals.
