As a long time distributor of JE, CP, Wiseco and MTC pistons, Orient Express would like to reassure users of JE GSX1300R Hayabusa 81mm Turbo piston kit #213918. Although we have recently seen and been informed of instances of high stress related issues, we have yet to see or even hear of any JE piston that has actually broken or caused failure. Considering the very large number of these specific kits in use, this seems to be a relatively isolated issue. Additionally, these pistons have been run by many of the top current Prostreet racers under increasingly extreme conditions. Included among these are our own recent Atco Prostreet win and Team RMR's amazing 7.11 record setting Mirock win.

JE has incorporated design upgrades to the original design given the extended requirements in a new improved "Super Duty" piston design. To further reassure those users Orient Express will be offering a special upgrade/trade-in package which is available to all users that have purchased piston kit #213918 from any vendor in the last year with verifiable invoicing. These new upgraded piston sets will be available to those that qualify for the special price of $425.00, minus a rebate of $50.00 for a final cost of $375.00. This program will be offered until 12-01-09 and will require reciept and inspection by Orient Express of your set of fully intact pistons, excluding any other unrelated damage. Please note: this program is to assist those that are uncomfortable with their present affected in-service pistons or those with stress-cracked piston skirts.
