Not sure if thats how you spell physique or what but curious if anyone is willing to post a pic of there build?? Is that alowed in this forum?? I mean not naked obviously. Is there rules against that at all??? I looked through the 3 pages and didnt see any posts on it..

Id be willing to post a pic up of me, but want to see if its ok or if others are willing.. Then at least you have a decent idea what a persons build is like when they are responding to a thread..

6'2.... 210lbs... I want to add that, The pic with the bike is when I was not lifting. I took a year and a half off due to injuries http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/cry.gif

Olly, looks like you made some good progress.Although the lighting is bad, seems like you added decent size to your upper chest and some thickness in the lats.Work those delts and you'll be set........and is there any particular reason your holding alittle"extra water" http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif???
Already posted this, but I'll do it again. Will be taking new pics March first when I start dieting
http://www.gixxer.com/uploads/dieting_pics_006_(3)0.jpg

I'm 5'-7" and was 227lbs. in the pic.I'm now 230lbs.

Definetly pretty feaking big man... I believe im hanging on too water mostly because of being on Creatine now.. Everyone says you hold a few lbs of water. ALso maybe cause I eat so dam much now...

Just started Nitrix today cause ive heard good reviews on a bodybuilding forum so figured id give it a shot.

Not sure if you believe in the whole muscle memory thing but thats my belief that the weight came quickly.. The oct pic is before I got serious in lifting/bodybuilding again. Lifted a lot in HS then was out for a few yrs and gained too many lbs of fat..

I believe muscle memory is indeed a factor in people who've atrophied due to whatever reasons.I was out of the game almost 2 full years due to a serious work-related injury and when I stopped lifting I was close to 238lbs. w/ decent vascularity(not bloated and smooth).I'm on my way back http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

yep, another for muscle memory.. its just a fact. i am in and out of lifting often due to injuries. and it doesnt take long to put on all my weight and size once lifting good again. it comes back twice as fast as it took to put on...

Ok, ya I think ive heard of it before and that but never really looked into it much.. I beleive it though as well.. I was a pretty solid 190lbs in HS. Im pretty sure less bf% then in the oct pic.. I lost weight but didnt do it the right way. The 1st month hitting it hard I gained 10-15lbs. 2nd month about 5-10lbs and last month I gained 4-5lbs.. So I think a lot was in my legs possibly too because I didnt work those out for yrs.. Never had access to stuff and then found a few bodybuilding forums and really got back into it..

oldgixxer, hey man, if you got time would you check out the SPLITS post.. I posted at the end there and thats what ive been doing and its helped me a lot so far.. Maybe tell me what you think.. If not its cool..
Thanks
olly

When I was young and stupid and could care less about injury,my main staple for delts was heavy heavy behind the neck presses. Were talking 275-315lbs for 6,and at least 6 sets as well.

Now that I'm a little bit older,I'm feeling the wrath my body is giving back to me from my younger haevy balls to the wall training method's.It did enable me to develop decent thickness, which I try to still carry today.Anyway's.......
Now,my typical shoulder day looks something like this:
-Smith Machine front presses:6 sets
-barbell upright rows:4 sets
-negative laterals on machine:5 sets
-dumbell fron raises:4 sets
-cable laterals:4 sets
bent-over laterals(4 rear delts):4 sets
-dumbell shrugs:10 reps each 160lbs,150lbs,140lbs,120lbs,110lbs,100lbs.
-standing calf machine shrugs:drop sets w/ rack
That is the exact workout I did today http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Sometimes I will superset movements together,or just start doing drop sets until failure,it all depends on the mood I'm in.I always switch it up every other workout.

I definitely DO NOT recommend you try this routine though. It's way way too many sets for most people, but it's what works for me.
Thanks for asking http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

What excerises are those? It is probably an excerise that I do but I am not familiar with the name. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
