at SJSU the pool is open most of the time to go in and swim, 24hr fitness also has pools. Or just look for local apartments and go there, most will have pools also.

you should see some of the drills I had to do for my underwater drown victem rescue/retrieval program I was involved in with the coast guard (I was a contracted diver). one of them was to swim underwater for the entire length of the pool and back again. others involved one lap underwater carrying a cynderblock http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

in case of a water landing, my beard can also be used as a floatation device. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

the beard jokes never get old. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
