Well i have been playing Socom 2 online latley and i have the ps2 hooked into my router. Usually when i play i cant hear half the people on the mic. So after about 3 weeks of this somebody recomended to hook it straight into the cable modem. Walla it works fine now. The problem is I really need to have the computers in my house online so I need to use the router. Does anybody have any suggestions on how or what i might have to do in order to get the full "signal" I need for the game through the router?

the best thing to do is actually call sony or goto playstation.com and get into the forums, they helped me out when i had a problem with my ps2 and router. on the phone the tech guy was really nice and informative when telling me what ports I had to open with my new router that was blocking me from getting into games, i could connect and see the lobby but it wouldn't let me into the games themselve. give them a call
