So my clutch is gone to shit on me, I'm going to try to replace it myself, I've watched some videos online and read about it on here and it doesnt seem too hard. anyways I have a few questions about it first.

I've read on here that I should stick with the stock clutch. Im from canada I have not seen anything on ebay for my bike, should I order it through the dealer?

-if so does anyone know how much$$ it should cost for the parts?

-also Im wondering do I replace the whole clutch or just the plates in it?

- any special tools that i might need? I've been seeing stuff like clutch kits is that what i want or is that just aftermarket upgrades?

Stock clutches are the best and the most expensive.
You can find EBC and Vesrah on ebay for about 65.00 which will work fine.
You should be able to reuse the clutch cover gasket if you are careful.
A shop manual comes in handy but the microfiche will also tell you the order of
disassembly/reassembly as well.
