I am Bulking now, but last time I was dieting I noticed that I was getting defined all over my body and it was making my stomache look larger then it was. How do I isolate my barrell more then the rest of my body when dieting and ripping?

I'm a litle confused the way you described this. Are you referring to you mid-section as the "barrell"? http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif Clear this up for me so I can give you info...

Yeah... the gut, the beer belly, the keg of beer etc...

When I was dieting my stomach looked so much bigger then the rest of my body because it had the most fat to lose. I sthere anyway to isolate the stomach region so that it may lose weight faster then the rest of the body. I s there anything I should stay away from, or add to in my diet or training method?

A common myth is that you can "spot" reduce a particular part of your body. Your body will lose fat evenly unless your genetics are programmed to store fat in particular places. The most generic of this is men store fat in their stomachs while women store fat in their thighs.

your best bet is a better diet to lower your body fat even more. High intensity interval cardio can be pretty good for removing the last few lbs if you're already doing a lot of cardio. But what it really comes down to for a healthy athletic adult is diet. You need to tighten it down even more.

Some guys are cursed and it simply wont go away unless you have extremely low body fat. This is rare though and some resort to liposuction.

If you could show a pic of yourself, I'm sure that could help.

its just fat.
It's like my body was shredded but my gut was still a little pudgie! I guess I should have continued my efforts.
I am pretty well knowledged, but it is something that bothered me so I thought I would throw it out there at you guys.
Maybe Oh Gee had an answer

If its just fat then you just got to stick at it, get your diet sorted do lots of Cardio - it will go at the end of the day - calories in against calories out - thats the bottom line no one can escape that equation if your burning more than you eat that gut will go.

The problem is if your naturally prone to having a bit of fat on your stomach it'll take a serious amount of dedication to completely get rid of it and then to keep it at bay and you have to make sure in reducing your calories you dont comprimise your ability to do intensive cardio.

Plodding along on a treadmill for twenty minutes at a steady rate does not count as intensive cardio btw. I dont go in Gyms much, but occasionally my gf drags me in one and im always amazed at the amount of people on the treadmills and steppy things plodding away barely braking a sweat at a steady heart rate - if your in a gym paying your money you want to be pushing it till you feel weak at the legs, its low impact on gym machines so you can do that without fear of injury.

and remember you dont need to be at a gym - if you can skip fast than theres always a fucker of a workout available at a moments notice - skipping for several shorter bursts burns calories like hell - consider fast swimming sessions to if there is a pool nearby or hill running sessions if you live in an area with some seriously steep hills near your door. All of these are Fucking hard work but they burn calories like hell.

anyway good luck and stick at it http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Sicshift.. excellent post man.. 100% true.. If the rest of your body was very defined then your stomach would probably be next.. Usually guys store fat in the stomach like sicshift said, thats why a lot of times you see guys with skinny arms, legs, and taht and a big stomach..

Genetics play a roll as well.. Usually if your stomach was the 1st place fat went its usually the last that comes off..
