DemianM 08-26-2009, 10:53 PM I have received and installed my shorty ASVs, but noticed some play (up and down) on the brake lever. Should I really tigthen the bolt, or is it normal? I made it quite tight for being a flat head screw, but there is still some play.... thanks guys! gsxr60006 08-26-2009, 10:58 PM mine have very little play. less than stock for sure. but a little is acceptable leveltwo 08-26-2009, 11:44 PM the clutch side is supposed to have a bit of play, you can adjust the play in both levers if needed, the manual is floating around the site if you wanna take a look as to how to tighten the lines DemianM 08-27-2009, 08:35 AM The play I am talking about is up & down, specially on the brake side.....but I adjusted them as per manual.....it would take a lot more force to eliminate it.....did not seem like it would tighten up anymore. But I remember something about over tightening can damage the brake mechanism.
