Ok so Ive made a few differant posts about electrical issues ive had with my Shitty lil Gixxer. Ive replaced the Regulator, battery and stator. Now the most recent thing i replaced was the regulator. I used a 05 600's cause it was $20. and it was working fine for 3 days or so. But then it went back to its old tricks of loosing all power while riding. Never happens all of a suddon. The gauges usualy go down then teh temp and from then the engine dies... It wont jump and stay running either. and to top it off its melted teh plug where the stator plugs in to teh wire harness. The wire by itself in the plug on both sides (stator and wireharness) has all the plastic melted off. but only the solo wires are that bad. the two next to each other are melted but not the the same extent. But it did the melting thing before as well. SO did i fry another Regulator? Stator? I"ve checked for shorts but i can check again. The yellow plug was removed and i wired all that together with out the plug. :banghead:banghead:banghead:banghead:banghead
