Just wanted to pass this along to anyone like myself that has a TON of cd's that they really wish they had in MP3 format or just want a back-up of all their music to stick in a safe deposit box etc. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

This company is pretty dam cool and really offers the service for a killer price (about a buck a cd). For someone like myself that has about 600+ cd's it is a nightmare and extremely time consuming trying to just rip them myself etc., for back-ups or ripping them to turn them into MP3's..... http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/punk.gif

Anyway, I just wanted to pass this along since I know the subject of ripping does come up quite a lot....

Also, just a FYI -- I have ZERO interest in this company so this is in NO WAY me trying to shamelessly self promote it... http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/nono.gif... ha ha really! Just a good company with a cool service! Wish I wouldda' thought of it! http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/bash.gif

Hmm I would just Use EAC and the Lame Encoder. Buy 3-4 Cd readers (for a buck a pop, and if you had 600+ cd's you would save a pile) you can ramp up the threads with EAC, so you would be rippin cd's like a mofo. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Nope, have not used it "yet".......considering it though. Originally saw the full write up about it on the Tech Tv website, sounded like a decent idea/service (they gave it high points too) so I thought I would pass it along.....

Thats all...... http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
