jhendrix 01-20-2004, 07:51 AM Yeah i would like to see an upclose picture of one. I have an older clutch cover that has a ding in it and was thinking about making one for myself. I haven't decided on what material to use for the window though. Maybe lexan? I have a nice pc of large diameter aluminum that would make a good collar that would fit on the existing cover. I would probably get that welded on and then make an outer ring that was drilled for the bolt circle. The window would fit between these pcs. Must re-figure out some trig!!!
micky750 01-20-2004, 07:50 PM Have a look at www.moko-gsg.de (http://www.moko-gsg.de), its in german but you can see there clutch covers
micky750 01-21-2004, 12:46 AM been looking for new cam links and found this http://www.tesperformance.co.uk/Catpage1.htm d
own the bottom of the page are clutch covers
UK lee 01-21-2004, 03:11 AM yep , i sourced one from TES for a mate in the states , when i got hold of it i took some measurements - in case i fancy having a crack at making one for myself http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

If i make one - it'll need to be slightly deeper than the stock one , to give enough clearance for my lock up clutch
http://www.gixxer.com/uploads/Lock_up_a.jpg
which means i'll be able to ditch the current spacer plate i have fitted - the quality isnt great and theycan be difficult to seal against oil leaks

jhendrix 01-21-2004, 07:50 AM Thanks lee- That takes a bunch of guesswork out of the project. I also see how they leave a step on the i.d. and weld to that step from the inside of the cover. Any idea on what the clear pc is made out of. Lexan? Thanks again. Randy
