Ive tried to look for a low fat bar that tastes good and keeps me full for 6hr before i can eat my meal.. ive been eating the Balance Bar Almond brownie it has the least amount of fat out of all the balance bars and the majority of protien bars, does the job well but im not sure if should stick to this or eat a bowl of Special K cereal in the morning...

Why don't you try a Myoplex shake instead?Takes about 10 seconds to blend and stick in a tavel container to go....

shakes take too long and messy.. a bar is ready to go and fast on the go and can fit in my pocket..

Cliff bars taste the best to me, and they are packed full of fiber/carbs/protein! Oh, and those shakes are good too. I get a bunch of stuff and mix it up a bit. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

personally, I live out of tupperware when I'm training hard. prep everything before I leave, I have a little cooler in the trunk.

That said, I like cliff bars and balance bars. I keep a few in my car when I get hungry at the gym. Otherwise I'll just leave because the hunger breaks my concentration.

If you want good results, it takes time and effort. if this stuff was easy, everyone would be in great shape. Make some meals up the night before that you can eat out of tupperware in your car.

Here's my personal fav. breafast that you can take with you:

1 Honey wheat english muffin. (thomas)

2 egg whites

1 slice fat free american cheese. (kraft)

1 slice of canadian bacon. (low fat, great taste. just 1 slice though. I buy a big chunk at ralphs or vons by the other bacons.)

Makes for a great healthy egg mcmuffin that's low fat, high protein plus some carbs. It takes 3 minutes to make max.

i wish i had the time to eat in the morning.. i wake up early as it is and im dont like to eat in the mornings at all so a bottle of water and a bar is the most i can handle... and i take my bike to work and school everyday so its not that easy to pack things up... on some days i dont take my backpack so its just the bar in my pockets...

I read something in mens health that said you can reduce your chances of being overweight up to 40% by simply eating breakfast.

your post just reminded me of that... don't mean to sound like an ass or anything. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
