Im looking at finding some DVD copying programs so i can 'make backups' of my current dvd collection. I have the DVD Recorder i just need a program that wlil actually allow me to create the 'backup' without saying it is copywrited and stopping.... Anyone have any ideas?

DVD X Copy ... I have it its a easy program to use and perfect for "Backing up" the movies that I rent from Blockbuster. Just in case I happen to need an extra copy.

If you dont want the stupid warning screen at the beginning of the movie, use dvd decrypter, dvd2one, and your choice of burning software http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif Works fine for me. You can choose to copy only the movie or the extras.

DVDXCopy works for me too. Get the Platinum and Express version, I have found some stuff that doesnt "backup" in one, but does in the other. Oh, and is it me, or should you feel guilty for pirating a piece of software that pirates dvds?

Well, yea. If you dont have one, then you need to rip the dvds into another format.

i use dvdxcopy ,platinum for the bigger dvds and express for smaller stuff
i've used dvd2one, dvdshrink and dvd decrypter and they are all good tho i do find them a bit too much hassle, xcopy is simple to use and fast
