How can you adjust it so that when your computer comes out of standby mode a password is needed to proceed? I wanna lock it from other ppl fucking with my computer when I'm not around, but I don't wanna be turning it on and off all the time, just rather put it on standby when I'm not using it.
Right now it goes right back to my desktop upon coming out of standby mode.
TIA

Ctrl-Alt-Del and then hit enter (lock computer). You'll find lots of IT people do this because other IT guys do things like make all the default sounds like the Dukes of hazzard theme and the Pina Colada song............ http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/bounce.gif
Also, there is a check box on the screen saver tab to have the password required to turn off the screen saver

Go to Settings -> Control Panel -> User Accounts. Select your username and then "Create Password", create a pasword. Then go to Settings -> Control Panel -> Display, select the Screen Saver tab and check the box that says "On Resume, Display Welcome Screen".
