: How to Copy a PC game?

I have a game that I legally purchased, and I want to make a copy of it in case I damage or lose the original.

However no matter how I go about burning the copy... it doesn't work.

When I go to play the game with the copied CD it tells me it ithe the wrong disc and to insert the correct CD http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

What do I have to do to make this work?

Any help will be appreciated.

YOu need to go get a crack for the game.

www.megagames.com (http://www.megagames.com) go to game fixes

www.gamecopyworld.com (http://www.gamecopyworld.com)

both of those sites have plenty of games. Find your version, download, read the readme. and boom, your good to go.

most games have copy protection on the disks, and these "no-cd" cracks, make copying possible. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

But if you truly want to "copy" the game, use CloneCD. It works fuggin awesome. Copies in raw data and I haven't made a coaster yet. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
