I brought home a brand new k9 759 last Saturday. Changed the oil at about
40kms, 25 miles. It really is an awesome bike, being my second coming from a
Honda Shadow.

Today, I managed my first burn out , just a small one so as to not eat up all the
tread yet, and still working on wheelies. Guess you could say I'm on the squid
fast lane.

Please comment on the accessories below which I hope to get done soon.

6000k HID low beams, 9005 Silverstar Ultra to keep flashing option, some kind of LED position light.

Fender Eliminator that fits between rear pegs and above rear wheel, maybe from barelylegalaccessories.com or somewhere less expensive.

Remove side mirrors and replace with flush mount signals Hot Bodies? Use circular convex mirrors and attach to fairing, or barends.

Cut frame sliders, likely Woodcrafts.

Exhaust suggestions?

Start saving for replacement fairings. And definitely go for the mirror block offs, 'cause you definitely don't need mirrors.

For your bike I'd definately go with the hotbodys megaphone or an equivalent tip from autozone. :punk

fairings are expensive, I would put in order in with auctmarts now for the parts so that by the time you need them, they'll be on their way to you.

I'd also get a radar detector, it's really hard to find a place to mount it to, so make sure they come with decent suction cups for the wind screen.

Changed the oil at 25 miles??? What's next? 100 Miles? That's the biggest waste of money I've ever heard of. And yes, I agree with everyone else, it sounds like the only additions you need right now are protective ones like frame sliders. And by the way, mirrors are useful...
