I have the big-cat model with the gamo scope. its accurate and is fun to shoot. I would recommend the whisper model as mine is every bit as loud as a .22. It does kill rodents though...

I've got an old one at my parents' house still I think. The reviews on the new ones seem decent.

I picked up the Whisper VH this morning and got it sighted in the backyard at about 50ft.

It was weird feeling a recoil on an air rifle and the lady next door called the sheriff because she thought I was shooting a regular gun. The sheriff freaked when he looked at it and then he fired a few through it and said he was gonna pick one up.

All in all, im impressed with the quality and feel and would recomend it to anyone.
