let me elaborate a bit on my short responce...


In the past i've taken ephedra type products much like hydroxy cut. They do work... However, I found when I stopped taking them my metabolism would slow waaaaaaay down beond normal and I'd gain fat FAST! When I was on them I was thin and peppy... almost TOO peppy. I had HUGE mood swings and needed my "go pills" to do pretty much anything then.

Now through reasearch, and a little common sence I've come to the conclusion that 99.99% of the hydro__ cut type products do more long term damage then good. I'm sure body builders will argue with me that if used properly they can be very benificial. I'm also sure this is true for their goals. However the problem is most people are using them wrongly.

If your goal is to shed a few pounds, there are only 2 things you need. DIET & EXERSISE! First step is to get on a nutrition plan that sutes your body's basic needs. Then incorparate some time at the gym. This will make your your body LOVE you. The pills on the other hand... well, if you enjoy feeling like crap comming down from a geeked out ephedra buzz then more power to you. I for one think for long term results, natural exersize is the only way to go.

I found that people are always looking for instant gratification with things in life,diet/losing fat notwithstanding.There is no "magic pill"(actually there is,but thats another subject)that enables one to burn fat instantly without any ramifications.
Anyway,Hydroxycut (pre-ephedra ban) was just a E.C.A. stack that someone marketed and it did work to some extent to burn fat.I found it effective as a little bit of a "booster" to help fat-loss when I diet.Keep in mind that my diet is 100% tight and on the money for MY needs,15yrs. of doing this enables me to know how my body works and reacts to changes I make.So for my needs,it did work,now that the Ephedra is gone,it's just a little bit of a wake-me-up in the morning for me.I don't count or rely on it for fat loss.
