Small little check list

Tires?
Brakes?
--Has the CCT been changed out for a manual one?--
Has it been dropped, and scratches anywhere?
How does the chain look?
Does the engine sound healthy?
What maintaince has the previous owner done?
Does he wheelie it alot?

Of course, take it for a drive, make sure it tracks straight, --the tanny shifts smooth?-- Hows the throttle?

The CCT thing is pretty important, but. . .they aren't expensive, do yourself a favor and if it does not have a manual cct, get one!! It will save you money in the long run. Just make sure the bike runs well starts easy drives well, they last forever if not abused.

They last forever even if they are abused. As long as the engine ain't blowing huge clumps of smoke and rattling like a bitch the rest is up to the chassis and running gear condition.
