Hey everyone I have grease under my shifter. I dont know if this if from my chain lube or what. It has been there for awhile and I was just curious if anyone else has this issue.

Have you checked your oil level? Looks like it's coming from the case cover.

It's been there for awhile? You ride around with it everywhere like that?

Clean the whole area nice and good and see if it comes back, and from where

Your water pump looks like it may have a leaky seal

Do what Andrew said, clean it up, see if there's a leak some where. If so, take it in under warranty.

+1 on this....

Only other thing that it could be is if you have a large buildup of chain wax\lube and road grime behind the front sprocket cover, when it gets hot, it can ooze down like that. I periodically take the front sprocket cover off and clean it all out....you would be surprised how much shit collects behind there. Could be coolant slowly leaking from the water pump and mixing with the oozing road grime/chain lube.

If you have an extended warranty why would you think about touching it?.. I would clean it real good with a degreaser and ride the fucker straight to the dealer and let them figure it out. End of story. You paid for the warranty, use it. I have.

Mine does the same thing. Looks like tons of chain lube coming off. You might be oiling your chain way to much and with to much lube. Pull off the sproket cover and grab a can of wd40 and start cleaning. Takes a while but it comes off pretty easy. Then watch for leaks.

^^^ Yep that looks like chain lube. How often do you lube the chain? Maybe to often.... Or just keep on top of the cleaning and dont let it build up like that. Lol
