Just seeing if anyone here is from Oregon. Wanted to start playing a ride day early. Post here or drop me a line if you're or are interested. Thanks.

Small note about sportbikes.ws... The group in oregon is ran by a small group of pompus assholes. Unfortunatly the majority of the oregon board panders to their whims and desires. I was recently screwed over on that board (for reason's I still am unaware of) below I have included a quote of what the admin did to my account. Some of the younger less anal more fun loving not up tight members of the board created a new site ( www.sportbikesnw.com (http://www.sportbikesnw.com) ) Which is back up and running as of yesterday after the host server crashed.
I know it sounds like I really dislike sportbikes.ws. But I really just dislike the way the oregon board is run on there. If you want more information about this feel free to pm me.

If you do decide to post on that site please remember not to mention stunting or else you will be black flagged and shunned by the group. Also if you have an opinion contrary to anyone with a greater number of posts than you, don't say it, you again will be blackflagged. If you ride in anything other than full leathers and an arai helmet, don't let them know. If you don't like to get together every friday night at the same locations don't go there.

this describes what the administrator did to my account

This hack is an alternative to banning a user. As the name suggests a user who
gets hit with this hack will become truly miserable while trying to access
your board.

So here is what really happens to a miserable user:

- There is a random 60-120 second delay each time they click on a link.
- 90% of times they have no search engine acccess.
- 75% of the times they get the server too busy error.

If they don't get the server too busy error:
- 50% of the times they may get a blank page
- 30% of the times they may get forwarded to the forum main page
- 20% of the time they may be able to see the page they asked for.

after doing all the math in actuality they have only a 5% chance of seeing the
page they clicked on. What kills them is the time they have to wait before
anything happens.

I actually once tracked a miserable user and watched him suffer for 2 whole
hours before he was able to make a simple post.

This hack is considered one of the most sadistic hacks on my board.

The hack allows you to make your user miserable via the admin CP. It also
allows you to search for all miserable users through the admin CP as well.

Also in showthread.php, it appends a red status that is only visibly to admins
and mods stating that a user is miserable.

Damn! That's messed up. I've never met anyone from sportbikes.ws except Cam and I used to work with a guy that posts there now (Quikwilly)...I wouldn't have figured that they (the clique that hangs out there) were like that. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
